The last Wednesday of the year is VERY SPECIAL indeed!!!
December 30th is the last Wednesday of the year, and it's going to be a VERY special Wednesday at our store. You may be shocked to find out that there is only ONE new comic book shipping this week, Blackest Night #6. Yes, that is true, there is only one new comic book and no new Graphic Novels to buy this week. How do we make you interested enough to drive to the store on this day? Here are a few reasons.
- Comic Book Companies and CREATORS in store - At least two comic book publishers, ASPEN COMICS and TOP COW, will be in-house, promoting their product and selling books through us. We will have appearances by Artists and Writers from the books, including Joe Benitez, Peter Steigerwald, and J.T. Krul (among others, yet to be confirmed for sure) signing their books at the store for you to buy during the day. This is part of our effort to promote LOCAL Publishers during a week that has almost zero product from the Big Two.
- BLACKEST NIGHT #6 - by far the best issue of this series. Something HUGE happens that will be felt in DCU for years to come. I am 100% serious, I have read the book, the last few pages (specially the last one) will below you away!
- ALL COMICS on the wall are 40% OFF, one day. We never discount comic books on the shelves, but since there are no new books, it's time to get serious about selling some back stock.
