Collector's Paradise started in September of 1994, when myself and my father-in-law Joseph bought an existing comic book store, called Little Angel's Comics. The business was in shambles but Pogs were keeping it afloat at the time.

Since then, we have moved 2 doors down to a bigger location and, in the last couple of years, have finally started to showcase the vision of the store that we have always wanted to have.

Nick, a long time customer, has become our #1 guy in the store with both customers and behind the scenes, and at this time we are moving forward into online presence and creation of online customer services.

Collector's Paradise is a proud member of ComicsPRO, a retailer organization  dedicated to the progress of direct market comic book retailers.  To find out more click the logo below.

Edward Joseph Nick
Edward was born in a small town in Belarus in 1971. After immigrating to United States in 1987, Edward has never looked back.
Edward's comic book addiction started in 1992, when while working across the street from the famous Golden Apple Comics, Edward heard about the "Death of Superman. That day the first comic book was bought and life was never the same again. Just 2 years later Collector's Paradise was founded.
Edward's hobbies include photography and fishkeeping.
Born in Gomel, a small town in belarus, joseph immigrated to U.S. In 1989.  After several jobs in electronics repair, Joseph opened Collector's Paradise with Edward, his son-in-law, in 1994. In the beginning, Joseph was not very interested in the creative side of the business, but in the last few years, he's really come around and is a huge fan of many more mature titles like "Y The Last Man", "Walking Dead", "Preacher" and others.
Joseph's favorite hobby is spending his time with his two grandkids, Alexis and Ilana.
Born in the Philippines in 1982, Nick came to America when he was 2 years old.
Nick's first encounter with comics occurred in 1990, when Marvel released its first set of trading cards. He and his older brother worked hard completing the set (He still has them stashed somewhere). Beginning with an obsession for the X-Men, Nick's tastes have since widened over the years. From Marvel to DC to Indie comics, he is happy to read (and recommend) anything that's well written and beautifully drawn.
Aside from his comic book geekiness, Nick loves baseball, and spends an obsessive amount of time managing his fantasy baseball teams.
